We come alive in the company of beings who know us and stay close, where we're seen as we actually are.
I wish for a world where more of our lives are held by community. Not only by family or a small inner circle, but by a wider web of beings who show up for each other. A place where we can take real risks because the collective supports us to explore, grow and create.
This kind of environment changes what's possible. A spark from one becomes real because the tribe carries it forward. Individual expression and group synergy live in the same room, the voice of one person feeding the rhythm of the many. Within such a field, different ideas don't have to compete to survive. They can be listened to, tested, held with care. Conflict softens when it's met openly and can move through rather than settle in.
I think a lot about how our lives would feel if more of our needs were met by our tribe, less navigated alone, more figured out together. From the quiet confidence of belonging, would the big and small moments of life would meet us differently?
It's with these thoughts that I have, unknowingly at first, and purposefully now, been building, nurturing and holding communities for the past ten years.
