Over the course of this year, I have worked on several projects with Emakina.ch for the watchmaker Girard-Perregaux. Girard-Perregaux is among the elite of Haute Horlogerie making watches in Switzerland since 1791. Their website needed a design revamp as well as a technical evolution . Here is what we proposed:
The concept of the website has been revised for a more editorial feel with content being constantly updated. The collections are beautifully displayed and News articles show what’s happening with the brand. GP World, a section exclusive to owners of the brand’s watches gives access to exclusive news and events as well as community forums.
This blog offers catered articles for those with epicurean tastes. The blog’s design stands with its own identity while reminding Girard-Perregaux’s branding.
GP launched a campaign putting forward the young watchmakers of the brand. The project was to create a digital version of the catalogue. This micro-website goes beyond the limitations of paper and shows the watchmakers in a unique way. Photography is put forward but videos are also used. Thanks to the simple yet elegant style, the website was a success.
